Review and Swatches: Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Envious

Do you love the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencils? Do you wish there was an equivalent product for your lips? You've got it! Today's review is on Urban Decay's 24/7 Glide-On Lip Pencil in Envious. I have to admit, I prefer eye look + gloss rather than lip look + barely-there eye makeup, so I don't have need for lipstick or lip liners all that often. I did go through a red lipstick phase, and it might just be creeping back up on me, so I decided to start testing out lip liners.

Review:

• Packaging: it's a wooden, sharpen-as-you go lip pencil. I have to admit I like the twist-up lip and eye pencils better- you don't waste product, you don't accidentally break them as easily and there's no chance a shard of wood is going to irritate your eyes or lips.
• Colour: Envious is a reddish plum.
• Pigmentation: Highly pigmented, this is opaque in one swipe.
• Texture: Smooth.
• Application: Good, it glides on easily and doesn't tug.
• Longevity: This lasted 4.5 hours (drinking and light eating) without a problem. I wore lipstick over it and only after 5 hours did the centre start to look lighter than the edges. Even then, it hadn't bled or smudged. It didn't feel dry, either. After 7 hours there was some bleeding (very light) at the top lip and the lipstick had worn away a fair bit.
• Cost: USD$16 each.

Smooth, long-wearing lip pencil.
