 Review:
  • Packaging: The packaging is a plastic little pot with a snap shut lid and a plastic cover over the majority of the product, with a hole to dispense the product. It's a big improvement over their old packaging which had no plastic protective cover, although if you aren't careful, you can still spill this without meaning to.
  • Colour: Emerald City is a gorgeous, shimmery forest green with light green and silver microglitter.
  • Pigmentation: This has good pigmentation- it can easily be worn on its own or patted on more lightly as a sparkly "topcoat" to finish off other looks (patting a bit of this over a matte black shadow like Urban Decay's Blackout from the Smoked Palette looks amazing).
  • Application: In one word? Messy. It's a loose shadow/dust, so that's to be expected. You'll just have to deal with a lot of fallout. I use my finger to apply them most of the time and that works just fine.
  • Longevity: Without a primer or a loose dust sealer (Napoleon does one called a Cake Eyeliner Sealer, which I have, and which works well), these don't last that long. With a primer, the wear is like any other eyeshadow. With the Cake Eyeliner Sealer, ditto. They're not going to budge.
  • Cost: They're AUD$25 for 1.8g of product. Expensive, but not complete extortion and when it's the exactly the product that you wanted (right colour and right amount of glitter/shimmer), more than worth it. These are much better value-for-money than theBalm's Overshadows, which retail at AUD$22.95 for 0.57g of much less pigmented product.
 Final Verdict: A
Beautiful shimmery forest green
